We are exhibiting Natural Color, a group of paintings and works on paper by 20th Century American artists, in which the colors of nature burst forth. The varied palette of landscape is captured in a sunset on Monhegan Island by Robert Henri, the summer sunlight on the rocks and vegetation at Dogtown on Cape Ann, Massachusetts by both John Sloan and William Kienbusch, and the bold strength of fruit and flowers in still lifes by William Glackens, Alice Neel, Priscilla Roberts, Joseph Stella among others.
